　　Qingdao Morning Daily and Qingdao Sailing Committee g et over 100 Olympic slogan suggestions in a single day 　　

　　The Qingdao Sailing Committee and Qingdao Morning Daily jointly announced a call for new slogans yesterday to help boost Qingdao's world recognition during the 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition. Over 100 suggestions were received on the first day. 　　

　　Yesterday's flood of suggestions came not only from workers, students, the media and Qingdao citizens of all walks of life, but also from as far away as provinces like Guangzhou, Heilongjiang and Jiangxi. Liu Wenhua, from Jiangxi's Gao'an Normal School went so far as to make 9 different Olympic slogan suggestions.

　　The slogan selected for official use will be utilized in the city's Olympic Sailing City promotional activities and be featured on public service advertisements along the city's roads as well as in the city's airport and seaport.
